Hiding our Travel Bugs

Today we set our 5 olympic travel bugs on their journey. It was a bit tricky to find a geocache that was near to us (and the Olympic Park) big enough to hold TBs and swaps.

Eventually we found this one : http://coord.info/GC24W3E

As the cache is hidden on a towpath alongside the River Lee, the teachers decided it would be safest to only send a small group of kids to find it. The rest of us stayed back in the classroom, connected all the time via FaceTime. We gave the group lots of instructions, found out which buses they needed to take and which stops to use, researched the hint and description, gave them the coordinates when it was time. We could also read previous logs from other geocachers and give the ‘hunters’ more hints.
